We routinely assist clients in divorces from simple to complex situations where financial and property division matters include professional practices, business evaluations and spousal maintenance (alimony as some may call it) are at issue.
Even after the Final Decree has been entered in a divorce, circumstances change and custody, parenting time and/or child support may need to modified or changed. We regularly review divorce decrees and paternity orders and advise clients how to address parenting time issues. Sometimes when those orders are silent we advise clients how to interpret and apply the Indiana Parenting time Guidelines to his or her unique situation.
We also have extensive experience in assisting clients with adoptions, one of the happiest times in our clients’ lives. Our attorneys also regularly help clients to obtain guardianships, which are court orders that allow one party to meet the physical and/or financial needs of another party, for minor children, disabled children or adults, and elderly family members.
We understand that each family is different and therefore the resolution to each case will be different. We will work to provide knowledgeable and compassionate advice while using practical solutions such as settlement negotiations, mediation and when necessary, litigation. Throughout the entire process, our main focus will be on you and your family.
